Try to avoid feeding your dog large amounts of apple cores because they contain seeds and stems. Apple seeds have cyanogenic glycosides which can cause tummy upset and more serious problems if consumed in large quantities. If you are feeding your dog dehydrated apples be cautious. Dehydrated apples contain all of the nutrients of the hydrated ones but they have no water, so only feed little bits of dried apple to prevent tummy upset.
